A Poetry Portfolio Website
I created the mock-ups for this in about 10 minutes. This is my first usage of a splash screen. I tied in my logo and animated it, giving the website a nice branded look. I also included all of my books. I want to work more with the color scheme and add a portfolio of all of my published poems. By far my favorite piece so far.

An Author Website
This website took me 2 1/2 hours to design and build. I used the color Red to really bring out the fire in Duane's writing. I think it matches his taste and personal flair. I also went ahead and added all of his books, with testimonials and a sweet animated logo. I still need to do some work on it. I want to swap out his author photos occasionally to make it really pop and give it some variety.

A Digital Marketing Website
This is my Digital Marketing Agency website. I honed in the colors Red and Black to make this piece stand out. I wanted to create a hip design that included enough information to sell my services. Hence, this site was born. I love the splash screen on this one, as it reminds of me volcanoes and magma. I want to update my services on here periodically as I upgrade my skills and abilities.

A Social Media Management Portfolio
This is my social media manager portfolio that I created. I'm using to show to employers. I'm searching for social media positions and this nifty portfolio website gets some likes. I wanted to express myself (Hence he splash screen of all black) and I also wanted to include statistics about books with large text. This really makes the site pop. I want to add more to this site as time rolls on.

A Personal Website
This is my sister-In-Law's website. I built it around her cat, Chubby and her favorite color, Pink. I utilized a small animation of pink feathers falling around her gallery of photos. I also chose not to include a splash screen. I did this for accessibility reasons, and to mix it up and add some variety. I want to clean up the photos and add some new functionality to the site in the future.

I built this website with wordpress.com. I'm not used to approaching wordpress without plugins, so it was a new a new challenge for me. I created the logo, which is actually animated and this is a still shot of it. It was a challenging and fun project.
